The antiques / art / furnishing markets are rapidly changing and the Internet is creating great new opportunities to reach customers, both existing and new. Many dealers know they have great pieces, but if a potential client is across town or on the other state, how do you communicate the glory of your pieces?
Great pictures are obviously a necessity, but there’s more to it than that, particularly as buyers are scrolling through countless pictures of sometimes similar pieces. Pictures don’t play much role in search algorithms… but boosters and descriptions help for Search Engine Optimization and building credibility of the dealer.
What’s more, there are thousands of pieces out there, so what will make them stand out, bring life to them and make buyers swoon over having them in their homes or those of their clients? It’s the descriptions, and that’s what we do at Gallery Consulting.
The goal of Gallery Consulting is to help you get your pieces noticed and wow customers with descriptions that bring them to life.
Pricing is straightforward: $20 per piece where Gallery Consulting takes the existing info such as age, dimensions, provenance, price, etc. (and of course pictures) and writes (or rewrites) a description for each item and either sends to client or directly updates the Decaso listing. Minimum of 5 items per week for duration of project.
Dealers pay Gallery Consulting directly; DECASO takes no commission.
